Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon(her full birth name) is the actress who acts as Elle Woods in the first and second movie of legally blonde. She was born on 22 March 1976 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. She began her journey into entertainment industry at the age of 7 through modeling business and has appeared on several television commercials. Reese began her first major acting career in Fear(1996) and Freeway(1996) which has helped her reputation as the rising starlet in Hollywood.

Reese Witherspoon finally hit her first breakthrough role as Elle Woods in legally blonde (2001) which established her as one of the top female actress in Hollywood at that time. Continuing her success on the first movie, the producer has decided to make legally blonde 2(2003) with the main actress as you might have guessed it by now - Reese Witherspoon.




I really think that she did a fine job as Elle Woods. According to imdb, she spent two weeks studying on sorority girls behavior just to make sure she can bring her role to perfection. I wouldn't expect less from her :)
